Canvas Wraps

There is a question that runs in the back of my mind when I organize and sort the pictures that I have taken at the end of each month: what I am going to do with them all? How can I put my favorites into frames or on display. This picture was taken by Shannon Odell of Shannon Odell Photography with my holga camera in 2010. Thank you Shannon!

This family picture quickly became a favorite of mine and was on the front of my refrigerator for months. Maybe even a year.  I admired it each time I opened the refrigerator, thinking I want to do something with it-something to make it stand out. I looked to  Pictage for ideas as this company provides a variety of  options, sizes, and never forgetting to add in their amazing quality and customer service. They scanned in my holga film negative to create this 18 x18 canvas for me. I love everything about it. . .the black and white, and the square shape. Now everyone who enters our home can admire the image too, now in a canvas wrap.

(image taken with my sister’s iphone- i am hoping to rip off the wallpaper on the walls:)its been on since we moved in)
